Quik-Poll Tabulation Reports and Graphs of Tabulations
Quik-Poll tabulates your survey and presents its findings in easy-to-read tables. These are standardized reports, and there is no need to spend time setting up the report format. Whatever the type of question in your questionnaire, Quik-Poll automatically labels the columns and rows with headings and descriptions. The tables show the number of responses and percentage of responses for each choice in each question.
Quik-Poll calculates the confidence interval for each response, and bases its calculations on a 95% standard deviation. In the case of ranking questions, it calculates and displays weighted averages for each response.
The results of the tabulations for each question can be displayed or printed. The results can also be saved as a named file and used in a word-processor. This technique is very useful if you wish to add your own comments or "dress-up" the page to highlight certain areas of the tabulation.
Like the tabulations, the survey questionnaire itself can be printed out. It can also be saved as a file to be used by a word-processor. The purpose of this would be to add special type faces and change layout so the computer's questionnaire might be used as typesetting makeready for a printed questionnaire to be mailed to the respondents.
Graphs of Tabulations
Nothing beats a bar chart or a pie chart to emphasize a point! Quik-Poll's graphing feature lets you create and print colorful graphs for any tabulation. The process is amazingly simple. You don't need to design your graphs. Just click on the "Graph Tabulations button. You will be given a list of the questions in your survey suitable for graphing. Click on the particular question you wish to graph.
Then select the TYPE of graph you want in your report. Here are the types offered by Quik-Poll:
Two dimensional pie chart
Three dimensional pie chart
Two dimensional bar chart
Three dimenional bar chart
Line graph
Logarithmic line graph
Area graph
Scatter diagram.
You can graph showing either percentage of responses or quantity of responses. The graphs are computed instantly and displayed on your screen.
The nice part about Quik-Poll's graphing is that you can select and display various types of graphs over and over for a question until you find the style you prefer. For some questions you might want a bar graph and for others you might want pie charts or line graphs.
Then you can print the graph or save it as a file with either a BMP extension (bitmap art) or as a metafile (WMF) extension for word processors)
