"Introducing Quik-Poll for Windows"
Surveys for your Web Site Creating surveys to be used on the Internet is a snap with Quik-Poll! We've simplified the process. After you have used Quik-Poll to create your survey questionnaire, with a single mouse click you can create a ready-to-use HTML form. Upload this form to your Web site. It will include all the questions and choices of your survey. We've included an all-purpose CGI program that will handle the replies and make a replies file. After you download the replies file to your computer, another mouse click translates the file for instant analysis by Quik-Poll. Sometimes if you have a long survey, you may want your respondents to be able to answer the questions OFF-LINE. Quik-Poll provides a method to make an answeer module that can be placed on your Web site and then down-loaded to the respondent's computer. The respondent answers the questions off-line and E-mails the answers back to you. After you have used Quik-Poll to create your survey questionnaire, merely click on a command button to create a special compressed file to put on your Web site. You can also send this file by E-mail as an attachment, or place it on a floppy disk for mailing. The compressed file contains all of the necessary programs to allow the respondent to answer your survey OFF-LINE. This Answer program has colorful reply screens, pop-up reference lists, and spaces for comments and lengthy open-end responses. The respondent can click back and forth through the survey questions to review and edit answers. It can be used by more than one person to answer questionnaires! This is great news if you want to survey a branch office, or any group of people located in the same place. When the questionnaires are completed, the respondent clicks to create a compressed file containing only the answers to your survey. This file can be E-mailed back to you and electronically merged into your master file. The advantage to the respondent of answering surveys OFF-LINE is freedom from expensive line charges. The respondent can take time to give thoughtful answers without tieing up the Internet access. The advantage to doing Web site surveys ON-LINE is the immediacy and zero-cost of collecting data from many different people. The advantage to you is that either of these options can use the full library of Quik-Poll's 22 different types of questions, including such sophisticated questions as Multiple answer, Quantitative, Ranking and Rating and Matrix types. New or follow-up surveys can be launched easily without having to design new data entry forms on your Web site. If you've ever explored the design costs and coding complexity of placing a survey form directly on your Web site for people to fill out, you'll appreciate Quik-Poll's no-extra-cost solution. |
