Two New FREE Exciting Spin-Off Applications from Quik-Poll
After using Quik-Poll's versatile survey system, several of our clients suggested two exciting new Spin-Off applications. We immediately incorporated these into the system, and they are included without charge!
Quik-Poll Human Resource Base
If you are a Human Resource Director, Personnel Manager or Employer, or if you operate a personnel placement service, you will be interested in Quik-Poll's new Personnel Profile Selection system.
You first create a survey questionnaire which will be used to identify all of your employees' training, education, skills, talents and interests. Questions will be in the multiple choice form. Examples: "Check any of the following computer applications you are proficient with." and "Which of the following languages can you speak and read?."
When most of your employees have been surveyed, you can use the Quik-Poll system to "query" the entire file, seeking out the names of any employees who have the skills or talents you are seeking. You do this by simply answering a blank questionnaire yourself, marking only the skills you are looking for. (such as speaking Spanish, being able to use WordPerfect, etc.) You can save your specifications as a "template" and build a library of templates for your various needs.
Now comes the "magic!" Quik-Poll does more than just find a match. It reads all of the employee questionnaires and scores each employee each time he or she meets one of your specifcations, adds up the scores, and arranges a list of all employees with the highest scores first. So while no particular person may match ALL of your specifications, you will be able to find those who come CLOSEST. This is called "fuzzy logic", and no conventional database can do this!
So imagine the power you will have at your fingertips as a Human Resource Manager! In a plant emergency, you can identify the employees who have had CPR and First Aid training. For an employee party you can find the folks who are entertainers. For unexpected job requirements, you can locate the people who may have untapped skills and training.
Chamber-of-Commerce Census Base
The second important new Spin-Off of Quik-Poll is for managers of Chambers of Commerce, Trade Organizations, or any other membership group. It too uses the power of Quik-Poll to collect information through surveys and tabulate and organize data. However, it is more like a continuing census than a one-time survey.
The base census then becomes a foundation upon which you can build dozens of additional surveys to gather data from members. Additional surveys could include wage and benefits information, health care issues, environmental concerns, opinions about proposed ordinances, and on and on. The only stipulation is that the member number should be keyed to each response so that each new survey can be tied back to the base survey.
Quik-Poll provides fast ways to do this. Members can download an answering module from your Web site, or receive it on disk. From then on, questionaires can be sent and returned by E-mail, and they can be autonatically input into your master survey. Questionnaires can be easily updated by members from year to year.
This powerful application allows you to relate all of your membership surveys together by the use of break-outs!! It will be like having a giant data base consisting of past and present surveys which can be analyed easily.
Quik-Poll's Human Resource System and its Chamber Membership Census are new concepts in data base management. They are as easy to use as ordinary Quik-Poll surveys!
